My Bio
Born and raised in Athens, Tiffany Taylor graduated from Cedar Shoals in 2006. She has lived on the Eastside of Athens all her life and continues to see the same disparities that affected her family continues today. She is the Founder and Director of Mothers of Black Sons, a non-profit dedicated to the growth and social development of Black men.
My Key Issues
Housing
Building strategic partnerships with local agencies like the Athens Land Trust and the Housing Authority to increase availability of housing that low-income families can afford. For example, she would like to see more 2/3/4 bedroom rental options with purchase options like the Savannah Heights development.
Youth Development
We need to invest more resources into our youth such as in the community centers, youth programs, and job opportunities for teens.
Civic Engagement
Tiffany wants to make it easier for voters like you to be engaged in local decision-making. She aims to keep residents of District 3 informed of decisions that will directly impact them. She will continue to make sure that your voice is heard.
